The cottage is old and tired in places, but, spacious. The beds are comfortable and the showers are hot and work efficiently at the same time. Location is quiet and a short walk to amenities. Some areas in need of attention have been pointed out to the owners (via the after-stay feedback). That said, we had a pleasant stay.

Had such a lovely stay. Was ideal for us as a family of 4. Big lounge and big kitchen diner. Clean, good quality bedding and comfortable beds. Towels provided, all clean and good quality. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and has a fantastic shower downstairs but rest of house needs a bit of an update. Paint refresh and a few cobwebs in rooms. Bedrooms need blinds as very light in the mornings in spring/summer. Would recommend bringing black out blinds for kids! Overall great base. Hide

An extremely well equipped and comfortable home with spacious living rooms and a good central heating system. The television was larger than ours at home. The house is positioned well off the main road in Combe Martin in a very quiet spot, but still only 10 minutes away from the beach area, and a 15 minute walk to the Co-op Store which is open 7 daRead moreys a week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treknow. It is a cosy, spacious and well-equipped cottage. The cottage is clean, nicely decorated and the furniture is of much better quality than you find in many holiday cottages. Access via door key safe is such a good idea and so much easier than trying to time your arrival in order to meet someone with a key. Read moreTo have a parking space off the road was great, too. Pubs, a Co-op and cafes are within walking distance. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The only other suggestion I can think of is that an ordnance survey map of the area would be really helpful and photocopies of the Combe Martin part of the map. We were most interested in the SW coast path and that didn't need a map but it would have nice to know where footpaths in the local area were. Hide
