On the ground floor a comfortable good sized living room has a bay window offering delightful views across the village towards the hillside beyond and a woodburner in feature fireplace for the cooler seasons. Combe Martin is something of a hidden gem and Treknow is perfectly placed to explore the village, beach and surrounding countryside. The sand and shingle cove is ideal for a picnic on the beach or as a launch point for sea kayaking and fishing in the bay, where you may even spot a dolphin or two. Footpaths radiate out from the village along the dramatically craggy coastline heading south to Berrynarbor and north to the impressive Hangman Hills with Exmoor National Park visible in the distance. The South West Coastal Path and local countryside offer a range of walks from easy to challenging. A good selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops can be found on the mile long walk down the High Street to the picturesque beach, flanked by its rock pools.
