Close to the Georgian market town of Holt, Kelling is a peaceful village situated on Norfolk’s North coast, within walking distance of the sea and the Norfolk Coast Path and is close to the nature reserves at Cley and Blakeney Point, which are just a short drive away and are home to migrating birds and a colony of seals. To the East, are the traditional seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer with their wide sandy beaches, while Cromer also benefits from having one of the country’s last remaining end-of-pier theatres. From Kelling, you have easy access to the coastal hopper bus, to visit Norfolk villages, pubs and restaurants along its route, so the car can be left behind. And locally, just a short walk from the property, there is both a cafe and a well-regarded restaurant specialising in locally sourced food.
Guests enter via the garden, which leads to the front door of the property and arrive in the kitchen/diner which features an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. There is also a dining table with seating for up to four guests, perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cosy lounge area is accessed from the kitchen and features a sofa and two chairs, along with a Smart TV with Netflix and wood burner, offering you the perfect environment to unwind in after a long day out exploring. Heading up the stairs to the first floor, leads to a landing area. The master bedroom is on your left and features a king-sized bed, along with hanging and storage space. Leading off from the landing is the family shower room with shower and WC. The second bedroom is located at the end of the landing and offers a double bed, accessed from one side only, also with plenty of hanging space and built in shelving. Please note that the landing and bedrooms have areas with low ceiling heights.
The pretty garden is enclosed, with table and chairs should you wish to soak up the sun and relax in a peaceful environment. There is allocated off-road parking for one car and an additional visitor’s space if needed.
