Beautiful cottage in great location for all places of interest to visit. Very tight parking, recommend reversing onto the driveway. On the downside, the back garden was completely overgrown and unusable, and clearly hadn't been maintained for some time. There was hair in the bath. Poly filler repairs had been done to wall in lounge, not rubbed dowRead moren or decorated. The conservatory roof leaks and the bed in the 2nd bedroom squeaks with every slightest move: not ideal if you like unbroken sleep. Contacted Holiday Cottages twice in 2 days and nothing got done, a complaint has been submitted. Not what you want when youre paying a lot of money !! Hide

Overall the cottage is lovely however we do feel that it is in desperate need of some maintenance. There are unfinished repairs to walls in the lounge, cracked windows throughout the property, shower screen had green mould at the base and the garden is so overgrown it's unusable as a place to sit which is a real shame as it's in such a beautiful seRead moretting. If the issues were attended to i would highly recommend this property as it is such a lovely space. I don't think the details of the property stress enough how awkward it is to get even a medium sized car into the driveway it is a very narrow entrance and the lane outside is also very narrow with the added hazard of a stream on the opposite side of the road. We spoke to the neighbour who stated he has offered to do something about the entrance as he is a former dry waller however the owners apparently have declined this offer i would urge them to have a rethink as it does make it a nuisance getting in and out of the property. There are also overgrown bushes in the front which adds to the awkwardness getting your car in. If these issues were dealt with i really would have no hesitation in recommending this property. Hide

Beautifully secluded cottage, comfortable and well-equipped with basic stuff. Warning to cyclists, though: this is the Old Sunday School Tregeseal, rather than the Old Sunday School St Just, separated from the town by a 1 in 6 hill! That said, there are lovely walks right from the front door.

What a lovely place to spend time in. In a great location with a friendly and welcoming local community. The Old Sunday School is a well planned and very tasteful conversion with ample space and easy access to all rooms. The cottage is very well equipped wanting for nothing. The wood burner is very warming and the living room bright and cheerful. TRead morehe property was very clean and the linen crisp and spotless. The beds comfortable and large. Ample bedside sockets and generous wardrobe space. Hot water on demand and a spacious shower and large bath. The garden is terraced, pretty and provides a number of spaces for sitting in the fresh air. Even in late February it caught the daytime sun and the valley provided shelter from the winds. The front garden provides parking for two vehicles and although the entrance is narrow it accommodated two medium sized SUVs. A very generous welcome pack greeted our arrival. Thoroughly recommend a stay here. Hide

Very nice location. The welcome pack was appreciated. Very comfy bed in the main room. The house was cosy and the heating simple to operate we could have done with a bit more fire wood as it was cold and rainy and the fire really cheered up the room. Typical Cornish character with a twist as an old Sunday School. Short walk up a steep hill to village which has ample facilities- we were there at festival time so that was an added bonus. Got takeaway pizza in village and had a drink one evening. Convenient to many of the go-to places in south Cornwall.
