We all love this cottage. The outdoor space is very dog friendly and also safe for a toddler. The meadow is beautiful. To have that to walk through and take drinks up on the little hill is a joy. The house is spacious enough even with unhelpful weather. The surrounding area is stunning with so many wonderful walks and places to explore. We have nowRead more had two holidays staying in Garths Farmhouse and have really enjoyed our time there. Hide

Garths Farm is a little piece of heaven. The house is gorgeous, with four good sized bedrooms for our group. The fenced garden and paddock were perfect for our dogs, and there were walks from the door. The host was great. The nearby village of Sedburgh is cute and has some nice pubs and shops. Whats not to like?!

We enjoyed our holiday. This is a suggestion only not a criticism very dark despite the many lights! For our party (maybe not every party) the downstairs room beside the bathroom could be converted to an en-suite bedroom/study. Then another bedroom upstairs could be converted to become another family bathroom? Our group was semi reluctant to come Read moredownstairs to use the lower bathroom. Great house & great location.
