Located in an enviable position on the water’s edge at Swanage, this property is ideal for those who enjoy being lulled to sleep by the sound of lapping waves. From the apartment, stroll down to the stunning sandy beach, which is lined with colourful beach huts and boasts clean, calm water. Relax on the soft golden sand, take a refreshing dip or hire a pedalo or kayak for the day to make the most out of this glorious setting. Afterwards, sample local fare at one of the popular bistros, seaview restaurants, traditional pubs and tearooms, or enjoy a portion of fish and chips on the sand. Durlston Castle and Country Park is just a 0.5 mile walk from the town centre and offers wonderful coastal walks, spectacular views and interesting wildlife. Other nearby attractions include the Swanage Museum, Poole and Bournemouth.

Inside, this property is bright and spacious throughout, with a contemporary, minimalist and subtle coastal theme that reflects its stunning surroundings. From the carport, enter into a useful hall area where coats and boots can be stored before continuing into the airy kitchen/lounge/diner. With its spectacular sea view as its focal point, the room is split into three zones. At one end, a modern kitchen features chic white units and a range of appliances and equipment for preparing delicious meals. Once prepared, dine with a sea view at the table for four nearby before settling down for a relaxing evening in front of the Smart TV in the lounge area or turn on the Bluetooth sound system and sit and watch the boats return home through the large patio doors beyond. Very comfortable apartment right on the harbour. Well equipped, and owner acted immediately to a potential problem. 7 minutes walk along the coast path to the shops and restaurants . Other walks on the doorstep. Windows and balcony open to the coast path below,, though the sun doesn't reach the balcony till later afternoon. We have stayed in this excellent apartment a number of times. It has wonderful views across Swanage Bay to Old Harry Rocks and is 5 mins walk from the coastal path and the town. Winter holiday = warm holiday property. Clean, well equipped sea-front property, walking distance of town and headland. Plenty of indoor seating in property to enjoy all the views. Under floor heating in bathroom much appreciated in February.

What an excellent place. We have holidayed here in summer months but needed a UK break in November and the Captains Deck delivered above and beyond. Warm, cosy property with amazing views whatever the weather - even spotted a seal!

The property was fabulously clean throughout which was much appreciated. The house keeper, Laurence was really helpful and responded very promptly to a couple of queries. The location was really great being just out of town but a few minutes walk into town and to several restaurants and cafes. Also just behind was the start to a lovely walk to DurlRead moreston castle and Anvil point. The view from the property is great overlooking the pier the bay and Old Harrys Rocks. Hide

Excellent location only 10 minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Stunning views. Clean, quiet, warm and comfortable. You can park your car right outside the accommodation so no long walk with suitcases etc. Cant wait to stay again very soon

Perfect location right on the coastline - easy to walk to both Swanage town/beaches, and Durlston Head. Great view out over the bay and Old Harrys Rock. Swanage itself is a little rundown, so don't expect too much of it, but we were able to find somewhere different that was nice to eat at each day. The Black Swan (10 minutes walk from the town centRead morere) was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay! Hide

Wow! What an amazing apartment in a fantastic location, which was extremely well presented and well equipped. We were lucky to be there during carnival week and able to view the fireworks in all their glory from the balcony. The downstairs bedrooms stayed cool in the hot weather, which was appreciated, and we all loved the views from the balcony, pRead morelus being able to go crabbing just outside the apartment. Easy walk into town and lots to do nearby. Fully recommend. Hide

Best location in Swanage with stunning views (we even saw dolphins from the balcony). The house is well equipped and comfortable. A perfect seaside retreat!
