Be sure to pay a visit to Bamburgh Castle and its beautiful, traditional village is a lovely walk from Seahouses. If you like boat trips, a day trip across the water to the Farne Islands is a must so you can see seals, puffins, and other migratory and sedentary bird life. Venture along the coast to the idyllic neighbouring village of Beadnell, where you can watch people play on the water or enjoy a great picnic in the dunes system. The dog-friendly pubs are worth a look if you fancy trying some locally sourced food and ales. Visit Holy Island, with its historic Priory and fabulous views of the mainland too, an unmissable day out for all tourers.

On arrival you will encounter a homely open plan lounge / diner decorated in a contemporary style in fitting with the exterior design. Ample comfortable seating centres around a log effect electric fire and Smart TV and DVD for restful evenings that follow a day of exploration. Close by is a dining area with seating for six guests for enjoying mealtimes. The kitchen comes complete with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and all the smaller appliances you would expect to find for a successful self-catering break. There is a washing machine/tumble dryer located in the adjoined garage, with a utility room housing a dishwasher accessed from the kitchen. The dining area connects to a sunny conservatory which provides a great space to read or play games in comfort. Also, on the ground floor is a cloakroom and WC. Upstairs you will find the three bedrooms: two king-sized rooms (one with an en-suite shower room and WC), and a single. All the bedrooms have ample storage space. We had a lovely stay at the house, being well equipped with all the items that you don't always want to bring with you, being catered for. Lovely and relaxing. You can get to Seahouses, with a number of eateries, small supermarkets and shops via the coastal path at the back of the house, a 5-10 min stroll, easy access to plenty of golden beaches anRead mored rockpools. With teenagers we found coasteering, surfing and a day trip to Edinburgh entertained them, along with days at the beach. Hide

After a long journey this property completely lived up to our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and there was a really thoughtful welcome pack waiting for us. It was close to the Harbour, various eateries and lots of walks from the front door if you didnt want to take your Car. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this Property. Thank you.
