The cottage and garden was lovely, in a fabulous location and the hot tub was great. Beds really comfortable and we enjoyed our time there. But the fridge is nowhere near big enough and I advise to take a flask to put milk in as you will have to lay it down and ours leaked all over the fridge. Super location for exploring the lovely beaches of Northumberland. Garden was totally enclosed and safe for both children and dogs! As mentioned by others, the house is needing a little TLC and the upstairs shower room is very compact, making it not very user friendly. Lovely stay at this really spacious house. Very clean, very comfortable and in a lovely location. Hot tub great as was the tidy childrens play area. Only downside (but it wasnt a nuisance) is the local shop and pub seemed closed. No bother though as Embleton itself is only a few minutes away by car for a super farm shop and pubs serving meals. Overall we had a nice stay. Went as a group of 7 adults, a toddler and 3 dogs. The enclosed garden and play equipment is fab and thoroughly used. My son loved the trains and the sheep next door. The house is cosy but desperate for attention. Too small for 8 adults as the shower room upstairs is tiny and not useable. Broken cupboards are dangerous, Read moredoor knobs falling off others, peeling walls. Downstairs shower flooded bathroom if turned on too high. Lovely house, peaceful stay but needs some TLC Hide
