Set in a quiet spot in the pretty Georgian town of Holt, this lovely cottage is just an easy stroll from a fantastic choice of pubs, restaurants, art galleries, antique shops and book shops. There are numerous beautiful walks to enjoy including the Holt Owl Trail, or you could explore the 100 acres of Holt Country Park. Nearby attractions include Norfolk’s only working watermill at Letheringsett, the ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle, or you could take a trip on a steam train. This is a wonderful area for nature-lovers and birdwatchers, with numerous nature reserves to visit, including those at Cley, Blakeney and Sheringham. The coast is nearby, with popular towns and villages including Wells-next-the-Sea, Weybourne and Cromer within 13 miles. 

On entering this bright and spacious traditional flint cottage, you will find yourself in the light and welcoming dual aspect open-plan lounge/diner. The lounge features plenty of comfortable seating, a flame effect electric fire, Smart TV, CD and Blu-ray DVD. Having a snug dining area, dining table, bench and chairs. Heading into the kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge with ice compartment. You will also find a ground-floor wet room comprising of walk in shower, WC and wash hand basin. Going upstairs, you will find two cosy bedrooms: there’s a light and attractive double room with plenty of  wardrobe and storage space, and a comfortable single room. Also on this floor is a utility cupboard tucked into the eaves and housing the washer/dryer. 

To the front of the terraced cottage is a pretty, partly-walled and secluded courtyard which has some outside seating and a table for alfresco dining, where you can sit back and unwind at the end of a lovely day. Please note the neighbouring cottage has a right of way across the courtyard which is not enclosed. There is also an allocated parking space just round the corner to the back of the cottage.

Great information, good accurate communication arrived a week prior to holiday, ideal location for Holt centre, pretty flint comfortable cottage, well insulated, outside courtyard and a parking space, good quality bedlinen.

A lovely little cottage. Very well equipped and in a good situation for the local supermarket if you need any extra supplies. Very quiet and private. We really enjoyed our stay.

Well-equipped cottage with a short walk into town centre shops. Can recommend Byfords for an evening meal. Also Follys Tea rooms for a delicious afternoon tea. Budgeons supermarket nearby and handy for any provisions, toiletries etc. Would definitely stay at this lovely cottage again!

Such a delight to have stayed in Partridge Cottage. On opening the front door for the first time and looking in, we knew it was something special - the decor, cleanliness and amenities plus the welcome gifts were first class and that's before you start on the picturesque places to visit. We were a little apprehensive that we backed onto the supermaRead morerket car park but that turned out to be a plus factor for the ease of shopping. Hide

Had a lovely stay in Partridge cottage, so comfortable and ideal place to stay to enjoy the beautiful little town. Lovely little shops and places to eat. Holt is a good place to stay for all the lovely sights and beaches to visit.

The owners are so generous with complimentary gifts and supplies. And they must be vey thoughtful people - the Christmas tree, lights and a card! So very welcoming. Practically everything you need is there - and Budgens too, if you run out. Games, books, things to do .. it's all there. A modern, clean, light and airy cottage, close to the town centre and backing onto the local supermarket. Holt is an ideal centre to use when visiting North Norfolk and there are many things to do nearby.

Partridge cottage is in an ideal location to enjoy the North Norfolk coast. It is clean, welcoming and well equipped. Two minutes walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and 5 minutes from decent dog walks.

The cottage is beautiful, very tastefully decorated and really cosy. It has everything you could possibly need. Although the kitchen is small its amazing how well it has been organised and equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the whole cottage was lovely and clean. We felt really at home and would definitely recommend this property. Also it iRead mores in a great location being a stones throw from the town centre and the local supermarket. We were also able to walk to the railway station. Hide
