Seabreeze is located within walking distance of the traditional fishing village of Seahouses. Its' wonderful attractions include a beach, harbour, a range of shops, pubs, cafes and amusements. Enjoy a round of golf at the local 18-hole golf club or take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to spot puffins and seals. Alternatively, you can explore the coastal path to breath-taking Bamburgh with its magnificent historic castle. Seahouses is within easy reach of Alnwick, a market town and home to Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Nearby are Embleton, Low Newton, Craster, Dunstanburgh Castle and Holy Island. This a fantastic base to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty. Seahouses is close to the Scottish border so if you are looking to explore farther away, take a trip to Paxton House, Coldingham Bay or North Berwick.

This four star property offers coastal themed luxury, just a stone's throw from the beach. With an open outlook at the back and a castle view from its third bedroom, aptly named Turtle Bay, there's always something to look at. Hues of blues and greys compliment the seaside theme, while soft blue cushions and white furniture add light and comfort throughout the lounge. The south facing garden allows you to relax in the sunshine well into the summer evenings. Entering the property via the front takes you into the hallway, the perfect place to store your outdoor clothing. The open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining offers comfortable sofas and a snuggle chair is the ideal place to relax after a day out. Enjoy a film on the Smart TV/DVD or listen to your music on the Bluetooth sound bar. The dining area is ideal to enjoy family meals together, with french doors leading out onto decking and into the enclosed garden. The well-equipped kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer with rear door access to the garden. There is also a separate WC. Heading upstairs you will find four beautifully designed bedrooms, bedecked with Cole & Son and Thibaut wallpapers. Each is named after a fisherman’s term or coastal link. The master bedroom, Stateroom, is decorated in neutral tones and comes complete with a super-king-size bed, ample storage space and an en-suite shower room/WC. The second bedroom, Starboard, has hues of coastal greys, a king-size bed and views over the surrounding countryside. The third bedroom, Turtle Bay, with neutral tones and turquoise, whale tail hooks, boasts a magnificent view of Bamburgh Castle in the distance. It can be made up as a twin or super-king. The fourth bedroom, Ocean’s Dream, with its sumptuous décor and open outlook can again be made up as a twin or super-king. Finally completing the upstairs accommodation is the spacious bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Venturing outside to the fully enclosed, south facing garden, you will find a comfortable seating area and charcoal BBQ. Enjoy al fresco dining and lazy evenings stargazing out across the beautiful countryside. There is private off-road parking at the front for two cars and roadside parking, subject to availability. The house also has a garage to store bikes, surfboards and any other large items.

The location and layout of the house is great. There are various things that need some attention however - namely those items above. Plus there are items like scissors and wooden spoons missing. I felt the cost was high compared to the one used by our friends during the same weekend with AirBnB.

We had a wonderful time in Seahouses, the house was in a great location near the stunning St Aidens beach. Provided the owners with a few improvements/suggestions following our stay.

Great house, really comfortable. We were 4 adults and 3 toddlers and it worked well for us. Location really handy for the beach and Seahouses - not to mention all the other wonderful things in easy travelling distance.

We had no complaints about the accommodation as such but the TV remote and DVD player did not work from the beginning, and even following several phone calls and a visit from a tv engineer to be told that the remote was not working and needed to be replaced but couldnt as permission had to be given by the owners before it could be therefore we had Read moreto rely on Netflix only for the whole week, disgraceful customer service. Lovely spacious house in a great location. We love the back garden with its picturesque stone wall and when the weather is good the sun shines on the garden from morning til night.

Generally the property matched our expectations and provided a convenient location for exploring the Northumberland coast. It is 5 min from beach and has an open aspect to the rear the kids loved it. It represents value for money in a sought after location. We would recommend this holiday rental.

A great family home which completely suited our purpose - using it as a walking base. Comfortable, modern and well-equipped; I'd recommend it to others.

The cottage was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, the welcome tray with coffee and biscuits was a nice touch! It was less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach, and a 15 minute walk to the centre of Seahouses. This cottage was a lovely base for our first holiday to Northumberland, and we would stay again.

Ideally situated less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes walk from the harbour at Seahouses the house comfortably sleep 8. Plenty to do and sea locally with Bamburgh Castle the favourite with the grandchildren. We also spent a day at Alnwick Gardens and had a boat trip out to the Farne Islands.
