Many people, both locals and visitors, come to Holt to take in the unique atmosphere of its attractive Georgian squares and interesting array of shops and places to eat. A 4-mile drive north brings visitors to the Norfolk coast and the quiet village beaches of Cley-next-the-Sea, Salthouse, and Weybourne. The larger sandy beaches at Cromer and Wells-next-the-Sea are both excellent places to enjoy a leisurely day playing on the sand, paddling, and playing games, and are both situated within 12 miles of the property.

The first room that guests come to on arrival at this converted coach house is the light and airy kitchen/diner with its large dining table and a good range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and dishwasher. One bedroom, a double, can also be found on the ground floor, next to which there is a stylish and contemporary shower room featuring a walk-in shower and WC. The second double bedroom, meanwhile, is located on the first-floor, a charming room set in the eaves of the property with a quaint romantic feel and beamed ceiling. Please do note that the location of this room and the period nature of the property mean that there is a low, sloping ceiling. A separate set of stairs from the ground floor leads to the cosy lounge, a characterful room with a TV.

To the front of the property there is a pleasant courtyard area with a table and chairs making it a nice spot to sit out with drinks. The courtyard also doubles as an off-road parking area.

This is a really lovely cottage in a great location. There is a lovely pub down the road called the Feathers and the town is very small but very quaint. My 2 children loved the little toy shop in the village called Starlings. The take away venues in this village are also very good. Really recommend this cottage to young families.

The cottage had very good facilities and was situated perfectly for both the town and its ameneties, coastal trips, and all the local "Things to do" visits we wanted to do. Negs. For us, outside space being at the front was not private enough,, and the lounge area was a stretch being upstairs.

Holt is a fab location to be in and the property a good base for touring Norfolk. There are several places to eat and a great range of shops. However, it is located on a relatively busy road, and quite noisy, particularly early mornings.

Holt is a lovely town, nice shops and cafes and easy to get to different places. Unfortunately we found the Coach house very cold, the heating system is not adequate,in fact it never came on at all.

Very nice property right in Holt, convenient for everything. It's always nice if you know what things are going to be left in the kitchen eg. Salt, pepper, vinegar etc to save bringing those items from home. A very pleasant stay and nice cottage.

This is our 3rd visit. We found the welcome pack excellent. There was a problem with the TV but was sorted out promptly. Unfortunately the heating system is very temperamental, could be a problem later in the season. We were cold at times. Holt is a lovely place, lots of coffee shops and eateries. Hope to go again.

I should start by saying the town Holt is lovely and it was so nice being in the middle of the town, to be able to walk out to get a drink and for food etc. However the drawback is the cottage position as its right next door to a beer retailer and the noise every early morning is so bad, so be prepared to be woken every morning with either deliveriRead morees or car noise. It is not a particularly comfortable cottage, as upstairs is the seating area, the rooms are small. An uncomfortable cottage. Hide

We would thoroughly recommend staying in the Old Coach House. It is very well equipped and its proximity to Holt and the ease of parking outside is great. We will stay again.

Nice little place to stay that's situated very conveniently to access the North coast. Town has some lovely little shops and eateries with a supermarket nearby. Would definitely stay in Holt again.

Excellent position for exploring Holt and North Norfolk. Unfortunately due to being in the centre of town there is quite a bit of road noise.
