A stay at this coastal cottage offers family or friends the ideal mix of seaside relaxation and adventurous days out in the South Lakes. Grange-over-Sands (0.5 miles) is a charming village with stunning views across Morecambe Bay. Wander along the promenade, enjoy a coffee in one of the town’s many cafes, and stock up on essentials at the local shops. Head to Cartmel (2 miles), a picturesque village known for its historic priory and famous sticky toffee pudding. Take a drive to the southern tip of Windermere (7 miles) and hop aboard the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway, which takes you through scenic countryside to the Lakeland Motor Museum. Alternatively, set sail on a Windermere Lake Cruise to Bowness (14 miles) or Ambleside (20 miles) for breathtaking lake views. If you fancy venturing further along the coast, Ulverston (15 miles) is home to charming, cobbled streets and the Laurel and Hardy Museum.

We had a wonderful stay at sunrise cottage the setting is absolutely beautiful and very central to some wonderful towns and a lovely walk into grange over sands .. would definitely recommend

Lovely bungalow, everything there that could be needed. Beds very comfortable, plenty of room for families, nice area for sitting out when weather good. Close to shops and walking distance to promenade and parks. Some lovely walks nearby. Owners very helpful. Hope to return, as it is a great base for exploring the Lake Didtrict

We absolutely loved the cottage and location and would 100% stay again and would recommend it to friends and family. Beautiful view and lovely and quiet but in perfect easy reach of the town.

Lovely cottage, with extra homely touches. In a quiet location with good view over the bay but within walking distance of the town for shopping and eating out so you didn't have to use the car.
