The charming village of Corfe Castle sits below the much-photographed castle ruins cared for by the National Trust. The village is well serviced with local amenities and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the ancient Corfe Castle Common. Miles of footpaths are easily accessible via nearby Red Lane or take the steam train from the village station to the traditional seaside town of Swanage where you can enjoy the sandy beach and amusements on offer. The property is conveniently located near the A351 which leads to Swanage from Corfe Castle. Heading north from the property takes you to the unspoilt beaches of Studland Bay. For a fun-filled day out, visit the ever-popular Tank Museum or Monkey World ape rescue centre.

Three external steps give access to this detached stone-built property, which is conveniently set alongside the main road through the village. Once inside you are met with an open-plan kitchen/diner, which is well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Leading on from here to the right are two double bedrooms and a set of steep ladder-style stairs rising to the first floor. Set within the eaves is a cosy twin bedroom and a separate WC. Due to its location, there are some areas of restricted head height within this room. Once back on the ground floor, there is a step down into the inner hallway, which leads to the contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Completing the accommodation is a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV.

French doors open from the dining area into the rear garden. This area is set across multiple levels with a patio area, furniture and raised borders. To the side and front of the property are two off-road parking spaces.

Wonderful stay in a cosy spacious cottage with a clean, homely feel, and I'd stay there for the bath alone - it's awesome! Great facilities and comfy beds, I loved it there. Highly recommended.

We booked our stay in the cottage on the spur of the moment and what a joy our stay was. The cottage is in a beautiful location, is cosy, warm and comfortable, with easy access to great countryside, and centrally located for some great days out. We will be returning in the future and would definitely recommend it to other people.

Lovely cottage and walking distance to local amenities and Corfe Castle. Although we loved the cottage it is very close to the main road and as such a little noisy as far as traffic is concerned.
