Conveniently located on the coastal road to Woolacombe Bay, there is plenty for all to do here, venture onto the South West Coastal Path and marvel at the views of dramatic cliffs and the nearby Sandy Cove. A short drive takes you to the golden sandy beach at Woolacombe, which is ideal for families to paddle their feet, build sandcastles or try their hand at surfing. For more practiced surfers the nearby beaches of Croyde and Saunton are definitely worth a visit. If golf is your hobby of choice you will be spoilt with two championship courses at Saunton and the Royal North Devon Golf Club at Westward Ho!. The seaside town of Ilfracombe can be reached on foot via the Tarka Trail or via car, with its eclectic mix of traditional amenities together with newer additions such as Damien Hurst’s “Verity”, quayside restaurants, Landmark Theatre and Tunnels Beaches.

On entering this attractive and stylish property you will find yourself in the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. The welcoming and bright lounge, with Smart TV and DVD player, is a delightful space to relax in and has bi-folding doors leading out to the garden. The light and airy dining area is ideally situated whether you’re grabbing a snack or sitting down to a special meal. Heading over to the stylish kitchen you will find everything you may need including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is also a utility room which is located next to the front door with a washing machine. Completing this floor is the wet room with shower and WC which is located next to the front door, truly perfect for those days when you come straight off the beach. After a long day head up to the first floor where you will find three bedrooms, one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request), one king-size with TV and one twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size on request). Completing this floor is a bathroom which consists of a shower over bath and WC.

Stepping outside, where you can relax and enjoy a drink or meal at the end of a great day in the charming enclosed garden with seating and Weber charcoal BBQ . The property backs onto the famous Tarka Trail which is ideal for walkers and cyclists alike. Secure storage is available for beach boards, accessories and bicycles in the garden.

Really enjoyed our stay at Coastguard Cottages. Very clean and comfortable, would certainly stay there again. Any questions we had were quickly sorted out.

Lovely property,love walking out the garden gate straight on the Tarka Trail & walking down to the Old Mill pub for a nice meal. 5 minutes down the road by car & your close to the beach & more walks. The weather could have been kinder to us but it was a real chill holiday but the Netflix was very useful, shame we couldnt sit outside & enjoy the seaRead moreting area which was great. Lovely house. Plenty of room for our family of 6,plus 1 dog. Garden secure and great outdoor space . Was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely welcome gift on arrival. Room for parking 2 cars . The house is few minutes drive to beautiful Woolacombe beach , and our favourite Barricane beach.

had a very nice week at this cottage very comfortable and spacious. It had everything we required and the patio doors opening right up was very welcome in the hot weather . We also enjoyed and made good use of the outdoor furniture . The cottage was in a very good location for exploring and was very close to some lovely beaches.

A lovely stay at No. 10 Coastguard Cottage. The cottage has everything needed for a holiday in Woolacombe, the accommodation was clean, well laid out, with plenty of room, and well equipped. The bedrooms all had large comfortable beds, there are two bathrooms, one being a wet room. Great location,cottage excellent,and garden very dog friendly as also fully enclosed. Tarka trail right outside from front door so great for evening walks. Beach only five minutes away,maybe too far to walk so take into account car parking fees. One of best holidays we have had,and will be booking again.

A perfect stay at Coastguard Cottage no.10. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The outside space was also great after a full day out exploring and walking... sitting in the garden watching the sun set. It was also nice that we could relax knowing the garden was enclosed so leaving the kids and dog to play was great. Having a washing machine was Read moregreat, came home with everything clean. You can leave your car and walk from the door, we walked to Lee, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe. Hide

Weve stayed in these cottages a number of times now. Always good value for money. Super clean, super spacious and very comfortable. Great outside space. Great location with a short drive to woolacombe beach. Will be staying again in the future.

The house is lovely, clean and comfortable. Everything a family would need for an enjoyable stay and handy for all north Devons attractions. The dogs loved the enclosed back garden too. Would highly recommended this house to anybody who loves beaches and coastal walks.
