An impressive, North Devon holiday hideaway, this stylish Ilfracombe cottage is all about the views. Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, the bright, modern abode has been designed to maximise the sweeping vistas out across the coastal town. Ideal for any time of year, the property comes with a lawned garden and raised deck for the warmer months and a wood burner for autumn and winter days. Set at the foot of picturesque Torrs Park, with its zig-zagging footpaths and spectacular cliff-top views, it is just 0.5 miles from the famous Tunnels Beaches, which are accessed through the cliffs. Pretty Wildersmouth Beach, which is set in a sheltered cove, is only slightly further away, while the harbour, with its aquarium, boat trips out to spot dolphins and porpoises and striking Damien Hirst sculpture, is 1 mile from the property. Savour Ilfracombe’s superb selection of shops and eateries during your stay.

Tear yourselves away from the spectacular views to enter this hillside retreat at the top-floor level. Find yourselves in the chic kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals whenever you choose not to book a table in one of Ilfracombe’s many restaurants. Take in the views from the dining room as you enjoy your dinner or amble through to the lounge to gaze out across the rooftops. Use the remote control to scroll the Smart TV. Open the doors from the dining room to step out into the sunshine on the deck. Stairs from the kitchen lead down to the middle floor, where one of your fabulous double bedrooms and the family bathroom are situated. Wake up to the wonderful views or treat yourselves to a great night’s sleep in one of the two double bedrooms on the ground floor below. There is also a utility room, with a WC down here.

Wander outside to the lawned garden from the ground floor. Have morning coffee or a cool glass of wine out here as you soak up the scenery or take in the views from one of the other tiered seating areas instead. There is private parking for two cars on the driveway to the front of the property.

We absolutely loved our stay at Marks home! It was so comfortable for us and our toddler. It had everything we needed (and more), was beautifully decorated and the beds were really comfy. We loved the speaker system that is throughout the top level and the views from the top level and the deck are stunning. It was a short walk into town and the TorRead morers walk was just a few steps from the house. We would 100% stay there again and recommend it to family and friends. Hide

This house is beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated with all mod cons. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal (not that we did) but it was comforting to see. The shower is powerful, the hot water plentiful and the beds have excellent mattresses. The garden is gorgeous and the views from the windows are spectacular.
