Centrally located within the hustle and bustle of Fowey, this stylish retreat is the ideal bolthole for a Cornish getaway. It’s perfectly located in the heart of Fowey near the Bodinnick car ferry and within 100 metres of the town's quay, pubs and restaurants. Readymoney Cove is within 1 mile and has a sandy beach and rock pools to explore. Enjoy a trip to Polruan on the passenger ferry or travel to the village of Mevagissey on a pretty coastal boat trip. Slightly further afield, some attractions worth a visit and fun for all the family are the Eden Project, Hangloose Adventures, Charlestown (one of the filming locations in the TV series Poldark), and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, all within 14 miles. For the walkers amongst you, there are countless beaches and coastal walks all within 20 miles.

Step off of the streets of Fowey and into this fabulous tardis of a property with a quirky layout that’s full of character. Upon entering you will soon notice the light and contemporary interiors throughout offering that wonderful luxury feel. The lounge is a spacious room with comfy seating, Smart TV, electric fire and plenty of natural light. Downstairs is the hub of the property, the open-plan kitchen/diner with a centre island and plenty of dining space. This is the perfect spot to plan the day’s adventures ahead over a morning cup of coffee. Making your way back upstairs and through the lounge, you take a few steps up and through a hallway to reach the first two of the four bedrooms: two kings, one with beautiful waterside views and both bedrooms benefitting from en-suite shower rooms. Make your way back to the lounge and up the main staircase where you will find a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom and a separate family bathroom. This floor also offers a second lounge with comfy seating and a Juliet balcony overlooking the River Fowey along with a very handy kitchen area, ideal for grabbing a cold drink or coffee.

Head up the spiral staircase on the first floor to a fabulous conservatory and rooftop terrace. Boasting breathtaking views of the water, this is the perfect spot to sit and relax whilst taking in the view after a long day. This property also comes with private parking, which is a real bonus in Fowey, this is situated just a short walk away up the hill. Additional parking is available along the Esplanade or the main carpark in Fowey.

This is a great place to stay as it is very conveniently located for the centre of Fowey. The property has great views over the estuary and the upstairs sitting room is delightful. The kitchen and eating area are ideal for socialising. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely house in a perfect location. We loved our stay over Christmas, it was decorated for the festive period and the kitchen/diner is wonderful & spacious. The property is located on a lot of levels so you need to be able to cope with quite a lot of stairs. It has a parking space included which is very useful. Would definitely recommend.

We loved everything about The Old Dairy- especially its central location and the stunning views from the upstairs sitting room and balcony. Many a coffee was enjoyed up there!!! We had a fabulous time and hopefully will return.

Great location, well equipped kitchen, one bedroom lacks storage, and some en-suites have little or no storage for toiletries. Upstairs lounge has a fabulous view of the river. Comfortable property and we had a lovely stay.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage. Really spacious (two sitting rooms and a top balcony / conservatory). Very clean and well kept. Well stocked kitchen equipment. So central too! Great value for money. We had a fabulous time.

Comfortable and well placed for both the town and the beach. Difficult to offload and load outside without holding up all the traffic as no room for another vehicle to pass.

The Old Dairy is a beautiful cottage with fabulous views from the upstairs sitting room. It is very well equipped and benefits from a very central location. Perfect for family gatherings. The property is a great size for a big family and the views are fantastic. We loved the large sitting room and the views from the small sitting room were fabulous. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The only negatives are that the bath towels are tiny and the twin beds are quite uncomfortable for adults.

This is the second time we have stayed and the location is lovely although it is difficult to unload and load luggage, food etc. This could be made slightly easier by more generous arrival and (especially) departure times. The fridge is hopelessly inadequate for a place that sleeps 8 people although there is an extra fridge in the kitchenette on thRead moree second floor. We had a wonderful 3 days at The Old Dairy. The accommodation is unusual and worked really well for us, being spread out over different levels. The kitchen was a lovely place to sit together in comfort to eat. Also very well equipped. The welcome pack was a lovely addition. All beds were comfortable and so fantastic to have 3 en suite bathrooms. InRead more conclusion, as 3 couples there were multiple places to gather and relax, but also privacy and space when wanted. View and ambience from upstairs living room is exceptional and would lead us to revisit House is on a street so some noise heard in main living room even though we went in October when Fowey was less busy.Not a problem overnight.
