This charming holiday retreat enjoys a peaceful setting in the East Sussex coastal town of Seaford. The property has an open-plan, sociable layout and is ideal for spending quality time with friends and family. Seaford is a bustling seaside town with a good range of shops and restaurants, along with a long, shingle beach and a popular golf course. Enjoy relaxing walks along the promenade or join the heritage trail to learn about the town’s fascinating maritime history. Seaford Head Nature Reserve (1 mile) is the perfect place to get away from it all whilst admiring the local wildlife and enjoying the spectacular views of the Seven Sisters cliffs. From the cottage, it’s easy to take a day trip to Eastbourne (9 miles) and Brighton (14 miles), while nearby attractions include the family favourite of Drusillas Park (5.5 miles) and the National Trust’s Alfriston Clergy House (4 miles).

Several steps lead to the single-storey holiday retreat, which is attached to the owner’s home. Inside, discover a beautiful open-plan lounge/diner with wooden floors, large bay windows, and a cosy collection of traditional furniture and accessories. Relax here, after a long coastal walk, reading a book in the armchair, watching the Smart TV from the sumptuous sofa, or sharing mealtimes at the table by the window. The separate kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cater for the group. Along the hallway, you’ll find two inviting double bedrooms, both with an additional single bed to accommodate two extra guests if required. A family bathroom with a quirky, retro vibe completes the accommodation.

Outside, the enclosed patio garden is south facing, making it the ideal spot for an evening of al fresco entertaining. The garden boasts stunning views across the golf course to the hills beyond, and you’ll find an array of outdoor furniture, as well as a parasol and BBQ. Excellent. Beautiful location, easy access to almost everything. Quiet neighborhood. We will definitely book again on our next visit. Both Robert and Jackie were great and nice.
