The town is set between the New Forest National Park (1 mile) and the Cranborne Chase AONB (3 miles), creating ample opportunities for walking, hiking, or bike riding nearby. Explore Garston Wood (13 miles), the Moors Valley Country Park (9 miles), and Langley Wood (8 miles), among many other surrounding beauty spots. In between those outdoor excursions, enjoy days out at the Rockbourne Roman Villa (4 miles), Breamore House (4 miles), and the Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary (11 miles). Or, in the summer, don a wetsuit and spend time at the New Forest Water Park (2.5 miles).
