Spend a joyful day exploring the vibrant city of Leeds (4 miles), which offers a fabulous selection of historic attractions like the Royal Armouries and Kirkstall Abbey to discover, as well as plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy. In the evening, come home to snuggle up in the cottage’s cosy living area.

From your parking spot, walk through the stable courtyard and log tunnel and climb the steep external staircase to reach your stylish farmhouse-style home. Step inside and kick off shoes in the entrance lobby, which has large storage drawers for boots and bags. This leads to a smart open-plan living/kitchen/dining area. Find your spot on the plush sofa and take a moment to admire the characterful exposed beams and preserved original features. When it’s time to eat, head to the chic, country kitchen area, a lovely space to whip up dinner.
