On a whole the cottage met description on the Web site. The lounge furniture was reasonably comfortable, the main problems was in the 2 double bedrooms. The description of en-suite was being very generous, it was little more than a glorified cupboard being only about 650mm wide. The shower was only 600mm square, most average build adults would findRead more it difficult to shower properly, a larger person impossible. Once again with it only being 650 wide the toilet was very restricted what made it worse a full size heated towel rail had been fitted by the side of the toilet which meant this was only about 80mm between that and the toilet, this was a possible burn hazard. To complete the en-suite was a miniscule sink that was only suitable for swilling hands. In the bedroom itself there was no mirror of any kind. In the second double bedroom there was no bedside table or facility to hang clothes or drawers Hide

We enjoyed our stay at Little Foxes very much. It is well furnished and in a good location for many places to visit, including Corfe Castle and Tyneham. The proximity to the coast was a real attraction, and we managed to walk along the Sourh West Coast Path into Swanage from the house as well as the St Aldhelms Head. We did not walk back from SwanaRead morege and getting an Uber was impossible. There is however a bus service (No 40) to the adjacent village of Langton Matravers, which is just under a mile away. Our visit to the house coincided with the June Heatwave and although it was very warm, closing the curtains made it reasonably bearable. A fan would have been appreciated Hide

A very comfortable and well-equipped cottage. The location is ideal for coastal walks and nearby sights such as Corfe Castle and Swanage. We enjoyed our brief stay, and the cottage had everything we needed ... the library was a nice surprise. Highly recommended.

First appearance was of a bright airy well furnishes cottage but there were a few minus points. Showers are extremely small and water flow is very weak. Standard of cleanliness on closer inspection not quite what it seemed. Some glasses and mugs had to be washed before use. Floors were a bit grubby . Mean with soap, dishwasher tablets and washing mRead moreachine tablets. Plentiful as far as books and games are concerned but the information pack is full of dos and donts and not very friendly. Location is good but we wouldnt return to that particular cottage. Hide
