Plenty of space for two couples. 45 min walk over the fields to Rye but you do have to cross a fairly busy road outside the property.

A great location, just over a 5 min drive into historic Rye. The house had all the necessary equipment for a great stay. The lodge was very comfortable, it is great place to use as a base to go further a field once you have visited Rye and WInchelesa like Eastbourne, Hastings, Tenterden and Dungeness. Location excellent, but property needs refurbishment, particularly bathrooms and standard of cleanliness should be higher when considering its marketed as a premium holiday cottage. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk Thank you for your review. We can confirm that we will discuss this with the owner.

Had a delightful long weekend with three adults. The accommodation was very comfortable and homely. It was even bigger than the pictures suggested. The outside patio area was lovely for breakfast and we enjoyed the larger garden area. Beautiful Rye was a 35 minute walk away, mostly downhill, and only 7.50 for a taxi back.
