Situated next to a quiet shingle beach which becomes sandy at low tide, this is an ideal getaway for those who enjoy sailing, swimming or a spot of fishing. A stroll along the beach leads you to the nearby local shops, pubs and restaurants, or just a short drive from the property, is the village of Pevensey (1 mile) with its striking castle, now an English Heritage site. Further along the coast, are the towns of Bexhill-on-Sea (7.5 miles) and Eastbourne with the Sovereign Harbour Marina (2.5 miles), a great place for a spot of lunch whilst admiring the wide variety of boats moored up. The Towner, also in Eastbourne, is a stylish contemporary art gallery, which is not to be missed along with The Observatory Science Centre and the impressive Herstmonceux Castle situated in the same grounds, just a 5-mile drive away.

Lovely upstairs apartment with balcony overlooking the beach. Superbly kitted out with everything you need for a week away. Comfy beds, lovely hot shower and beautifully decorated and clean. A stone's throw from the beach with lovely areas to explore. We especially enjoyed visiting the Seven Sisters area with stunning views. Local chippy was good tRead moreoo!
