Located close to the Medieval Market Village of Lenham (2 miles), this unique listed oast-house has been lovingly rebuilt with the original roundel painstakingly restored. Nestled in the picturesque Kent countryside, it’s perfect for keen walkers and cyclists to explore the local trails or for simply enjoying the peaceful space and far-reaching views. Leeds Castle is 4 miles away offering plenty of family-friendly activities. Keen foodies will enjoy all that the Garden of England has to offer with a multitude of local vineyards, breweries and artisan food producers to sample. Some 12 miles to the north is the market town of Faversham – home to Shepherd Neame brewery. Chatham Historic Dockyard is 20 miles away – with acres of interesting displays and ships to explore. Rochester (an ancient City) with its Castle and Cathedral is 25 minutes away and while the fabulous beaches of the Kent coast are only 50 minutes away.

Step inside this stunning listed oast house and into the welcoming hallway. Hang your coats before heading down a small set of steps into the cosy and inviting lounge. Light the wood burner on a chilly evening and gather the family together for a night of board games. Alternatively, wander into the adjacent entertainment room where plush seating surrounds the large Smart TV, and a sound bar offers a cinema-style experience while you watch your favourite films. For a spot of friendly competition, challenge your group to a foosball tournament. Heading back up into the main hallway you’ll find the large kitchen/diner across the hall − a light and bright social space for entertaining. Whip up a delicious family meal in the well-equipped kitchen and gather everyone together around the traditional farmhouse table with seating for all. The beautifully restored roundel feature of this oast house offers a cosy snug with a sofa for curling up with a good book, and a handy desk and chair should you need to catch up on emails. Completing the ground floor is a utility room and a cloakroom with WC. Heading upstairs, you will find the master bedroom featuring the carefully restored roundel brickwork as well as an inviting double bed, dressing area and uniquely curved en-suite shower room with WC. There are a further two bedrooms: a double and a twin room which share the Jack and Jill shower room with WC.

Heading outside there are multiple areas in which to enjoy the sunshine. A patio with a dining set and a gas BBQ are the perfect addition for outside entertaining. Soak up the warm rays with a glass of something chilled over on the welcoming rattan sofa. Private parking is available for two cars. CCTV is in operation 24 hours at this property covering the front, driveway, rear grass area and patio.

An outstanding property, with all that is required for a super holiday. All the comforts, inside and out, in a quiet, nature filled environment, watching the rabbits and squirrels playing. This property is probably the best we have stayed in, from a decor, state of repair and also the space, which felt very spacious and loads of access to the outdoors. Every item in the house was well thought out and of good quality. The listing doesnt say but the kitchen has all the basics for cooking, cleaning etc. The kids loved the cinema room anRead mored table tennis table! We loved being able to sit outside in the total peace and quiet. Cant recommend the place enough! Hide

It was a great stay in a lovely house. There was plenty of space for us as a family of 5. Surrounded by nature with the option to take a train to London nearby. Recommendation!!

A beautifully restored barn in the countryside of Kent. Our family throughly enjoyed our relaxing Christmas holiday the perfect place to spend quality time together whilst visiting from New Zealand. The barn is cosy and warm with plenty of room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything required to enjoy making a home cooked meal. A picture perfect and interesting accommodation that I would enjoy living in as forever home. Clean, tidy, well equipped and peaceful. Loved watching the rabbits prancing around the garden. Plenty for all ages, fun playing fooseball, table tennis, games and admire the architecture and history. Hosts lovely and welcome home made cookies.

Beautifully finished, comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a quiet part of Kent. We had a lovely holiday. There is much to do in the area, and the coast is not too far away either. Kids enjoyed the cinema room and the ping pong table.

Lovely place to stay, so quiet, and absolutely gorgeous use of the old building. The cinema room as my kids called it was perfect on an evening. Our four generation family had a most enjoyable holiday in the amazing Elmstone Oast. Not only is it stunning from the outside, it is extremely impressive on the inside. The restoration is to a very high standard with plenty of oak and traditional features. Furniture and equipment are high quality, the beds and sofas extremely comfortable. ERead moreverything is provided for a luxury holiday. The decor is very tasteful and well thought out, adding to the general ambience. The owners were very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. The gardens are beautiful with frequent sightings of rabbits and squirrels. Exceptional place with exceptional hosts. Very high quality accomodation, equipment, location, versatile arrangement. Fully eqquiped kitchen and the added beautiful touch of the Rayburn cooker.
