Enjoy a memorable break with family or friends at this unique and beautifully presented eco-style property. Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, it sits next to the thatched village church in South Cove and is just 1 mile from the golden sands at Covehithe. The charming seaside town of Southwold, known for its brightly coloured beach huts and landlocked lighthouse, lies 3 miles away. Snap up fresh-caught fish and local produce from independent shops in and around the bustling High Street and enjoy a stroll down the town’s wonderful Edwardian pier. Take the ferry across the River Blyth to the pretty village of Walberswick and discover another sandy beach plus the best spots for crabbing. Enjoy outdoor family fun with karts, zip wires and more at the Maize Maze (4 miles), while the RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve (11.5 miles) is home some of the UK’s rarest wildlife.

The interior of this south-facing holiday home combines a stylish contemporary decor with a relaxed country vibe. A vaulted ceiling with beams sits above the light and airy open-plan living area, with comfortable sofas around the cosy wood burner and a Smart TV. There’s a large dining table and a smart, pale grey kitchen, stocked with all the cooking utensils you might need. Patio doors opening onto a large patio flood the space with light, while bright cushions, rugs and books enhance the welcoming ambience. At the other end of the property are three delightful bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. These comprise a king-size and two super-king-size, which can be made into twins. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a separate shower room complete the layout.

Outside, the half-acre garden encompasses a lawn, trees and wildflower meadow, along with two large patios. Both have outdoor dining furniture, while one is partially covered, with an outdoor kitchen, charcoal BBQ and a wood-fired hot tub, from where you can watch the stars. Enjoy your complimentary bottle of Fizz and relax in the sunset spot to catch the last of the evenings rays.

We had a great stay at Rumi's field with our dog. It was clean, well decorated, and the location was brilliant for visiting the coast. We made good use of the bbq, and the large enclosed garden meant we could let our dog roam without worrying he would get out. It was lovely to meet Alice and she couldn't be more helpful.

If you are looking for somewhere to escape, relax and find peace and tranquility, then this is the place. Spacious, calming, beautifully laid out with bedrooms at one end, entertaining space in the middle and kitchen area/outside BBQ and wood fired hot tub at the other end. We had such a special mini break here with family. Super property for enRead moretertaining all generations, lovely rural surroundings with grassed area for ball games, and lots of outdoor seating/dining table, plus wild flower areas and a sun trap corner. Loads of car parking too! The light, energy and serenity of Rumis is super for restoring the soul, completely away from the busy grind of daily life. Lovely location for exploring Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich and Covehithe and sandy beaches are so closeby. Our highlight from this stay was watching the June strawberry moon from the hot tub, such a special moment to treasure! So highly recommended and we definitely would love a return visit, cant wait . Thank you to the marvellous hosts for making sure we had everything we needed. Patricia and P-Ann June 2025 Hide
