We had a lovely week at Chauffeurs Cottage. The property is fabulous and the enclosed courtyard garden was lovely. The location was great, within easy reach of York, Whitby, and Castle Howard. It was a real bonus to have a tearoom on site and a pub within easy walking distance. Highly recommend to any couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

A lovely setting, as a working estate prospective rental persons may be advised of the coming and goings of grounds & maintenance personnel. We were unable to watch 'regular TV' as we could not work the Apple tv. The central heating was confusing to operate.
