Hiking, mountain biking, sailing, and sightseeing are just some of the activities on offer close to this stylish apartment – the perfect destination for a small family seeking North Wales fun. The property nestles in Barmouth, a beach town set on the fringes of Snowdonia National Park, yet appealing in its own right. An incredible beach is less than 0.5 miles from home, and a historic wooden railway bridge crosses the Mawddach Estuary, leading to the equally charming town of Fairbourne. Nearby, the Wales Coast Path and the Mawddach Trail provide opportunities for long walks or enjoyable bike rides. If you prefer to take in the views from the comfort of a seat, hop on a train along the Cambrian Coast Line to fully appreciate this beautiful area. And, when it’s time to explore Snowdonia, the vast Coed y Brenin Forest Park (10 miles) provides plenty of excitement.

Bright, clean, and contemporary, this ultra-modern holiday apartment is incredibly appealing throughout. Spread over two storeys, it offers plenty of space to relax and unwind. The open-plan living area on the first floor features ample comfy seating, large windows with stunning views, and a perfect spot to sit and watch the boats bob in and out of the harbour. The first of three Smart TVs is in this space, along with a wood burner to keep you cosy while enjoying the view. The well-equipped kitchen caters to all your culinary needs, and laundry facilities are tucked away in a utility cupboard should you require them. An invigorating shower room completes the lower level. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms: a double and a twin. Both are charming and furnished with Smart TVs, but the double may just have the edge, offering majestic sea views to wake up to every morning.

Accessed via the first floor, the exterior terrace is this property’s hidden gem. Private and offering panoramic views of Barmouth Beach and out towards the Cader Idris mountain range, it’s the ideal spot to unwind. You can enjoy outdoor seating, a private hot tub, and that all-important alfresco for summer nights. Guests will also benefit from a parking permit for a public car park behind the property.

A superb location to stay - right on the front with nearby parking (pass included), the pnly downside being the lounge windows overlook the public lavatories but they don't look like those establishments so doesn't affect the stay. Before I begin note the number of stairs - if frail/disabled etc this may not be one for you ... Entry from the streRead moreet is via 5 steps to a communal front door leading to the door to the apartment which is on the first and second floors. On entering there is a small hallway and staircase number one to the first floor. Once at the top straight ahead takes you to the rear of the property past a cupboard area with the washing machine and the shower room with sink and toilet. Carry on through the back door and you come to the back area of the property with a table/chairs and a hot tub! Going the other way at the top of the stairs you go up another 3 stairs and take a right to the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well appointed with all essentials and even a Nesoresso coffee machine with pods so full marks here. Turn left and you have a table with benches, the now collapsible sofa and 2 windows overlooking the bay area with two arnchairs to sit in with your Nespresso to take in the view. There is also a fireplace you can use and of course the wifi router although the code for this could be displayed clearer. Up 2 more flights of stairs and we arrive at the bedrooms - a double at the front with plenty of storage and a second room with two single beds and a huge chest of drawers. All bedding and towels are included in the let but the entire property could do with a fresh coat of paint to refresh. Would I go again? Yes@ Hide

Aberview is a brilliant stay. With amazing views of the harbour to the front and the beach at the back. We were here for a week and made the most of the amazing heatwave that hit Wales. The town of Barmouth has all you could need: lots of places to explore on the doorstop, plenty of places to eat out (The Barmouth an Isis Pizzeria a highlight). WRead moree explore further afield to Snowdon and used the permit provided, as well as zipworld too. The train service was reliable and allows for exploring without a car too. The hot tub was a welcome addition after a long day of walking! We will definitely be back to this part of Wales to explore further! Hide

A lovely apartment over two floors with a perfect central location. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. We could not think of a better place to enjoy my 70th Birthday.

We had a great 4-night stay at Barmouth Harbour View during October. The property is amazing - well specified, spacious but cozy, and perfectly located for the town, beach, arcades, walks and pubs/restaurants. Our children - 11 years old and 8 years old - had great fun in the hot tub and loved having a TV in their room. We also enjoyed plenty of cRead morerabbing on the harbour across the road. Id recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Barmouth Hide

Apartment is exactly what you get on the website. Stunning place with fantastic views over looking the bay. Immaculately clean with plenty of storage, everything you need is there, there was nothing that we thought we could have done with. Can't comment on the hot tub and decking area as we couldn't use it due to the horrendous rain, but thatRead more's the chance you take with Wales and is not in anyway a criticism. Car park pass could be used in various carparks around the area which was a bonus and saved us quite a few in the many places we visited and was an added bonus. Would love to go back and hope for better weather. Hide

Wow! What a lovely base for a peaceful and comfortable holiday in Barmouth! Superbly equipped, warm and well appointed, very convenient for everything you might need during your stay - beach (2 minutes), harbour / waterfront (20 seconds), restaurants (30 seconds to a 5 minute walk into town), shops (5 minute stroll), ferry to Fairbourne (30 secondsRead more), car parking (2 minutes). The apartment was very well set up, with everything needed for self-catering, comfortable beds, excellent technology (wi-fi / broadband, big screen tv, Alexa in 3 rooms). Furnishings were very good quality and very conducive to a feeling of comfort and quality. The holiday seemed to stretch much longer than the actual time we stayed, as time slowed down and we relaxed in this lovely home from home. Definitely recommended! We do hope to be back again! Hide

The apartment is full of everything we needed and has a great location. Stairs were a problem for us, both entering the property and within it, with our toddler. The location is stunning and the dawn views were breathtaking.
