A lovely, well equipped and very clean cottage. The house description states that there is a low wall and steps to the river and both our dogs managed to get in within minutes of arrival which they thought was great :). It is easily accessible but as said before this is made clear in the house details and with supervision it is fine, in fact, the Read moresound of the water is very relaxing and lovely for a refreshing paddle if the weather is warm. Communication from Jo prior to our stay was very welcome. The cottage is joined to the pub 'Tafarn Y Crydd' which we visited on several occasions. It is a Community owned pub and the landlord is really friendly and welcoming and although the pub is popular and right next door we were not disturbed by any noise. We found the location of the cottage to be perfect for walking and touring the area. We had a really comfortable week at Cobblers Cottage. Hide

This was our second visit to this beautiful cottage. It really is outstanding in both location and the cottage itself.

Deceptively spacious and immaculately clean. In a beautiful setting with the very welcoming village pub next door. Lovely riverside garden for the warmer days and a really good log burner for cosy nights in. The kitchen is very well equipped. Scenic walks from the door, or not far to the Brecon Beacons for higher mountains. Ticked every box for uRead mores. Hide

A great place to escape; so peaceful with all you could need - not disturbed by the pub. Long walks from the door and only a short drive to access the best of the Beacons. Really thoughtful gifts and nice touches in the kitchen - milk, tea, coffee, clingfilm etc. Plenty of space for our 3 dogs. Comfortable beds and quality towels. Would return.
