We both loved the cottage and the surroundings and there were lovely views to be had from both front and back. We loved that it was very central to all the areas that we wanted to visit. The owners were very helpful and were on hand for any issues or questions that we had. We would have no hesitation in returning to the cottage in the future.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the property every thing was 10/10 for us. The property is located in such a superb location in the Derbyshire Peak District which makes walking, touring the area a wonderful experience and staying in a very smart, comfortable property made it a joy to behold. The cottage is fitted out in a stylish wRead moreay with all the facilities you could wish for and more. The beauty of the countryside surrounds the property and the quietness of the location is 100% with sheep, lambs, horses and cattle adding to the backdrop. The property was very clean and tidy, the bedroom and bed was a major plus with so much space to move around in. Nice big wardrobe to hang your clothes. Superb walk in power shower with plenty of hot water.. Heating the property on some chilly nights was not a problem with easy to use controls and the electric fire made it even more cosy. Plenty of instructions available to use the cottage equipment and local tourist information leaflets available situated on the lounge sideboard. This property has to be one of the best if not the best we have stayed in over the years we have been touring the UK, and that has been quite a number of them. The owner was very nice and approachable, nothing was ever too much trouble and always checked with us when our paths crossed during our stay. We will be going back again, so brilliant. Hide

It was cold weather while we stayed, snow and wind - however the cottage warmed up quickly and was so comfy it was a great place to relax after a days walking. The amenities were excellent - lots of well planned space, great facilities and clear instructions as to how to use them. A delightful find.
