This is the second time we've stayed here and we just love it. It's a fantastic escape from reality and still only a few minutes drive from the local town of Okehampton. A beautifully equipped and secluded property, we thoroughly enjoyed our week away. Clare and Graham were very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, but not intrusive in any way. An excellent location to explore the local area, or just relax and unwind; very comfortable indeed.

The property was perfect in every way. As it is surrounded by nothing but countryside as far as the eye can see, it gave us the very much needed peaceful holiday. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need. The bed was very comfy and so was the sofa. Cleanliness was excellent. We would most definitely book again.

Both myself and my husband absolutely loved every minute of our stay at the Larkbeare Cottage. We were very lucky to have great weather during our stay, so we spent a day exploring Dartmoor National park, which was beautiful. 10/10 stay at The Annex at Larkbeare. The location is situated perfectly within Dartmoor and has 360 breathtaking views - the access to other parts of Dartmoor for hikes, lakes and reservoirs is incredibly easy. The place itself was clean and organised with a very cozy feel - and you can still enjoy the views of Dartmoor from the warmth of indoorRead mores as the entire property is filled with huge windows, letting natural light cascade through. Had everything I needed during my time at the Annex, the kitchen is kitted out with all the equipment one could need. The living area was extremely spacious for myself and Reggie (chocolate lab) with use of their smart TV and DVD collection to unwind of an evening. Large bedroom with comfy bed, cant ask for more! The couple who own The Annex, Graham and Clare were both lovely, friendly and very welcoming. Also extremely knowledgeable of the area - offering tips on all the best places to see during my stay. We chatted for ages over a cuppa and watched a truly spectacular sunset - the area is spoilt for choice on beautiful scenery! The local town is only a short drive away and has all your necessities for your stay, plus there is loads of small villages dotted around with some excellent pubs too. Reggie had tonnes of places for walks, swimming and running about! He was so knackered by the end of his stay - very accommodating for pets which you dont often see at holiday rentals, thoughtful touch. Whenever Im in the area again, I will definitely make sure I stay at The Annex. Cant wait to return already! Hide
