Enjoy a seaside getaway at this delightful cottage in the Lancashire town of Morecambe. The holiday home welcomes four guests and is a great base for couples and small families looking to explore this beautiful stretch of coastline. You’ll be just 400 metres from the town’s sandy beach, where you can spend lazy afternoons building sandcastles and admiring the views across the bay to the Lakeland fells. Take a stroll along the iconic promenade, before heading into the town centre to dine in one of the independent restaurants or pick up some delicious fish and chips for your supper. Alternatively, journey into the historic city of Lancaster, just 4.5 miles away. Nearby attractions include Lancaster Castle, Happy Mount Park, and Lakeland Wildlife Oasis (all within 10 miles). The cottage is also within touring distance of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, making it a great base for keen walkers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Enter the cottage directly into the cosy lounge. Decorated in a coastal theme and featuring a collection of homely accessories, you can unwind in here after long days at the beach. Sit back and watch a film on the Smart TV and warm your toes with the wood burner-effect electric fire on cooler evenings. From here, move through to the separate kitchen/diner, which has been thoughtfully designed to include everything needed for a self-catering break. Whip up tasty dishes for the group, which you can share around the wooden table nestled under the stairs. A family bathroom completes the ground floor layout. When day turns to night, climb the stairs to the first floor and the two inviting bedrooms, a king-size and a double, both featuring stylish, wooden furniture, plenty of storage, and cute nautical touches.

Outside, the furnished patio garden is the perfect spot to sit out with a morning coffee or a post-dinner tipple on a summer’s day.  It also boasts a hot tub, which after a day out exploring, is most welcoming to relax in. This area is fully enclosed, making it ideal for four-legged guests. The property has on-street parking on the adjoining streets, subject to availability.
