A warm and inviting welcome awaits within the walls of Quay House in Little Petherick, located 2 miles from the bustling town of Padstow in Cornwall. This ground-floor apartment makes the perfect romantic escape for two couples or a small group. Nearby, you’ll want to carve time in your travel itinerary to visit Or spend a day exploring the gorgeous beaches, with Trevone Bay 3 miles, Harlyn Bay and Treyarnon Bay all within 6 miles. and the popular seaside resort of Newquay (15 miles) also the attractive seaside town of Port Isaac where the hit TV show, Doc Martin was filmed, 13 miles away. On sunny afternoons, pack a picnic and venture out onto The Camel Trail, an 18.3-mile stretch of disused railway line that you can cycle or walk while enjoying the Cornish countryside. Or go for a sunset walk on the soft sand dunes of Trevone Beach, just 8 miles away.

Enter the apartment, where on your left, you’ll find a perfectly appointed kitchen with plenty of storage and workspace. After a day of sightseeing in the local area, snuggle down on the sofa with a good book or enjoy your favourite show on the Smart TV. The inviting lounge/diner has patio doors that lead out to a pretty courtyard with a further set of patio doors overlooking the babbling creek. There are two bedrooms to choose from: a king-size with plenty of storage and a charming twin bedroom which can be made into a super king on request. In the morning, before heading out for the day, enjoy a rejuvenating shower in the family bathroom.

As the sun sets, relax in your private courtyard to the sound of the wildlife and babbling creek before retiring for the evening. The property benefits from parking for one car.

The property is in an enviable location situated by the little Petherick creek, which makes for a very relaxing holiday. The owners could not be more attentive and helpful. Highly recommend .

Outrigger is in such a perfect location, right on the creek. At low tide we played and waded in this with our toddler and it provided a lot of entertainment! The apartment was clean, had everything we needed in it, and was a cosy boot hole to come back to at the end of a rainy day.

We had an absolutely wonderful and totally relaxing time at Outrigger. The location is idyllic, and watching the tide come in and out from the lovely balcony and the changes to the creek along with the wildlife is mesmerising. It's so calm and peaceful, yet only a 45 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) to Padstow. The cottage itself is very well appoinRead moreted with everything you could possibly need, the care and attention the owners have put in is impressive. Great to have parking and access to the garden, and super dog friendly. The owners live on site and are very lovely, thoughtful and unobtrusive. We highly recommend all that the north coast has to offer; the Pentruse farm shop nearby is amazing for foodies who want to eat in, and if course the beaches and local towns. Outrigger is a very attractive property, located in a fantastic position on the river estuary. We really enjoyed the views from the property that brought an ever changing landscape with the tidal ebb and flow. This included Little Egrets, Herons, ducks and their young as well as Mullet feeding on the incoming tide and a small herd of cattle on the Read morebank opposite. It was all very relaxing. All the facilities in the property were of a very high standard and met all our needs. Parking was available directly outside which was a real bonus. Hide

Property as described. Ideal location to just chill and unwind. Bed was comfortable and massive (2 singles zipped together). Kitchen well stocked with everything you may need. The sitting room and adjoining balcony has a beautiful outlook onto the Little Petherick Creek, we watched mullet feed as the tide came in. We saw egrets, shell ducks, curlewRead mores, spotted woodpecker, Moorhens and song thrush to name a few. The owners were welcoming and live on site if you need anything. Good walks for the dogs and most of the nearby beaches are dog friendly even through the summer. We would love to return. Hide
