Perfect for couples, families and anyone who loves the great outdoors, this impressive property has been designed and decorated with great attention to detail. It’s located in a peaceful position on the fringes of the Yorkshire Dales, where you can explore gorgeous landscapes that range from limestone features to waterfalls. Best of all, you can head out on the Pennine Way from your doorstep – the perfect base for keen walkers. For a variety of interesting shops and places to eat and drink, head to Skipton (7.5 miles) where you’ll also find a renowned market and medieval castle. From Keighley (8.5 miles), hop aboard a heritage train to visit Haworth – home of the Bronte sisters. For little ones, Thornton Hall Country Park (7 miles) has farm animals and soft play. Make sure to save time for afternoon tea in Bettys, the world-famous tea rooms in Ilkley (13 miles).

This tranquil rural escape perfectly blends modern comfort and original charm, and every detail has been carefully considered, from the flagstone flooring and planked-wood doors to the copper kitchen ornaments and pretty, soft furnishings. Step inside and kick off your walking boots before strolling through to the delightful lounge, where the wood burner, set into a brick wall, creates an inviting focal point. Stretch out on the sofas and enjoy a relaxing evening, whether you prefer reading, listening to music or streaming movies on the Smart TV. The kitchen/diner is a handsome space with painted, Shaker-style cupboards, wooden worktops and a deep ceramic sink – offering all you need to cook up a feast for all. Completing this floor is a handy WC. When you start to feel tired, head upstairs to find the two beautifully decorated bedrooms, both featuring traditional-style, cast iron double beds. They share a stunning family bathroom which boasts a claw-foot bath and large, separate shower.

For outdoor fun, the large garden includes a furnished patio area where you can dine alfresco and relax in the sunshine. Sink into the bubbling warmth of the hot tub or fire up the BBQ and grill some tasty treats sourced on your travels. There’s private parking for two cars at this fabulous property.
