The property lies on the outskirts of the charming small town of North Tawton, ideally situated for following the Tarka Trail or the course of the River Taw. The stunning Dartmoor National Park is to the south (6.5 miles) offering wonderful walks and breath taking landscapes, with nearby highlights including Cosdon Hill, Fingle Bridge, Castle Drogo and Scorhill Stone Circle, all within 12 miles. Heading south-west, the bustling market town of Okehampton (8 miles) has a choice of great pubs and restaurants and is known for its historic castle and the fascinating Museum of Dartmoor Life. Other local attractions include the Miniature Pony Centre, War Horse Valley Country Farm Park and Eggesford Forest, all within 15 miles.
