Along the coast path, those eager to get into surfing should head to Polzeath (3.5 miles), a fantastic spot for beginners to ride the waves. On the edge of New Polzeath, explore the rugged headlands of Pentireglaze (3.5 miles), offering excellent hiking with superb, far-reaching views from beauty spots like Pentire Point (4.5 miles). A little further afield, discover the foodie haven of Padstow (14.5 miles), home to a selection of exceptional restaurants.
