The old mill town of Matlock has independent stores and bars, while Chatsworth Estate (10 miles) and Haddon Hall (8.5 miles) have stunning gardens to explore. House was a great base for exploring the area either by foot or car, and the garden was well used during the glorious weather. Very relaxing two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely comfy cottage, might be tricky parking by Greyhound once its open again.
