Southwold (1.5 miles) can be found just across the River Blyth (a great spot for crabbing!), with regular passenger ferries offering crossings throughout the peak season, Once in the town, you can walk along Denes Beach and onto the parade, passing the famed lighthouse as you reach the pier (2 miles).
