This property was exactly what we wanted for an intergenerational holiday. Everything on one floor and the property both inside and out was immaculate. The owners have considered many aspects and made provisions for them - be it the kitchen and all the utensils and kitchenware that goes with it all the way through to the rotary dryer outdoors andRead more pegs. The hot tub was enjoyed every day and often twice a day while we were there and the location is ideal if you are looking for a tranquil getaway with plenty of attractions nearby. If you are looking for a break away from the day and day yet with the options of filling your days with a multitude of activities then this spot is perfect. Hide

Higher Polden Lodge was absolutely immaculate. It certainly lived up to its reviews. A beautiful peaceful location, with spectacular countryside views, a brand new lodge with everything one could need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen must be singled out as it was wonderfully equipped with an exceptional range of accessories, equipment and pRead morelenty of quality cutlery, crockery and glassware. Compliments to the chef who kitted it out-it was a pleasure to cook in! We are a multigenerational family with disabilities and special needs. It is almost impossible to find accommodation that meets our needs. But Higher Polden Lodge ticked all our boxes-two spacious double bedrooms and a twin, a walk in shower and everything on the level, including the entrance which had a non slip tiled pathway. There has been so much thought put into this accommodation which is of the highest standard and was a pleasure to stay in. We have family in the area so we will definitely return. Oh and I nearly forgot, the hot tub-which was utter luxury for one hard working carer!! Thank you Hide
