Shotwood is a delight!  Set at the top of the hill leading down into the charming village of Little Petherick this comfortable detached bungalow has light, contemporary accommodation coupled with attention to detail.  Plenty of parking, a small enclosed garden to the rear with patio and garden furniture.  A nearby footpath takes you down to the church at the bottom of the hill where you can join the Saints' Way, a public path which leads to Padstow about two miles away, and also visit The Old Mill House Bistro for an evening meal.   Padstow is home to Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant, where you will find numerous places to eat, pubs, interesting shops and a working harbour.  Several magnificent sandy, surfing beaches are a 10 minute drive.  Nearby is Mellingey with the Journeyman Restaurant and just up the road is St. Issey which has two pubs, one of which, the Pickwick Inn, has some lovely views over the Camel estuary. There is also a handy bus stop yards from the bungalow.

Lounge: 40'' TV, DVD player, CD player, BT Box for Netflix, sofa, and 2 armchairs and coffee table, serving hatch.
Kitchen/Diner: Gas cooker, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, dining table and chairs.
WC w.c., basin.
Shower Room: Electric shower, basin.
Bedroom 1: Kingsize bed (5'), chest of drawers, TV, hair dryer.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3'), chest of drawers, TV, hair dryer, wardrobe.

GARDEN & PARKING: Parking in drive for up to 3 cars. Front garden laid to lawn with shrub borders, rear garden - sunken lawn, outdoor shower, large patio with garden furniture, barbecue. NB.  Garage locked and not available.

Changeover Day: Saturday arrival 3:00pm - departure 9:00am.
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent; gas fired c.h./hot water.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: None provided but may be hired.
Shop: 2 mls Pub: 0.5 ml

NOTES: No smoking, no pets, no short breaks no children between the ages of 1 and 7. Not suitable for those with limited mobility. WiFi provided. Call box 500 yds, mobile reception varies.

The bungalow is well kept clean and comfortable. We have stayed here several times. It suits is very well.

Excellently equipped bungalow in a good location for touring the area. Very comfy bed and homely lounge to select from the many TV channels. Pleasantly decorated with modern art on the walls keeping it light and airy. Good parking space.

We had a lovely weeks stay at Shotwood - a beautifully kept, well equipped bungalow, ideally placed for the local beach at Harlyn - which is stunning - and Padstow. Tesco Supermarket 5 minutes away.
