Dormy House was formerly an historic country house hotel which has been tastefully converted into high quality apartments. This newly refurbished duplex apartment has wonderful views out to sea, across the formal landscaped gardens from the second floor. It provides comfortable, modern and bright accommodation with the fabulous sandy beach and Royal West Norfolk Golf Club just a short walk down the road. Shop: 1 mile  Pub/Restaurant: 0.2 miles

Brancaster and neighbouring Brancaster Staithe are lovely coastal villages, which have much to offer, making them ideal holiday locations at any time of the year. There is a wonderful sandy beach, numerous coastal and countryside walks, a golf course, a tennis court and excellent sailing from Brancaster Staithe. There are three well known pubs The Jolly Sailors, The Ship and The White Horse within the two villages which serve food, or you can buy locally caught sea food. The lovely village of Burnham Market is just a short drive away with its excellent range of shops, restaurants and pubs. The area abounds with numerous opportunities for bird watchers with the RSPB reserve at Titchwell two miles away, which can be reached on foot along the coast path. Boat trips to Scolt Head and sailing are available at Brancaster Staithe.

The apartment was well maintained and very adequate to our needs. It is well located for coastal sites such as Titchwell and Wells. We used the bus once and that is an added bonus. The village shop is within a ten minute walk and well stocked.

This is really good accommodation for two people and Brancaster is a really lovely area. It's a 15 minute walk to a terrific beach and the Coastline bus service between King's Lynn and Fakenham runs hourly during daytime. A local store/Post Office/Bar is well worth a visit. The Ship Hotel has a garden area as well as an extensive restaurant.. AlRead morel in all a great week here ! Hide

Really lovely place to stay, in a great position, short walk to the beach and lovely walk to Brancaster Staithe along the pathway at the back of the property. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen, with all the necessary washing up liquid salt and pepper etc. we hope to come back again

This was a lovely place to stay in a great location. We really valued the garden room as a place to dry off wet / sandy clothes, and to do washing. This was really helpful as we have a young family. It was also easy to park and a very practical space to stay in.
