Beautiful property, very well maintained with everything in full working order. Lovely attentions to detail and lots of space for a group of 6 with dogs. Dogs well catered for too. Good location for exploring the area. Lots to do within close proximity. Good value for money.

Lovely cottage, well equipped, ideal location for a lot of the Yorkshire Dales, being able to walk up Pen-y-Ghent from the door was great. However, it does sit right beside a busy road and we did find the noise an issue, particularly when the quarry lorries started rumbling past from about 5.50am every weekday.

A beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated in a great location only let down by an unpleasant smell of dogs and a soaked bedroom carpet presumably left by the previous occupants

I founds Ings Barn to be a wonderfully comfortable place for a four week retreat, with all the facilities you could wish for. We had a wonderful week at Ings barn. This was probably the best self catering accommodation we have had. The beds were very comfortable and clean slept well. Kitchen very well equipped, with the airfryer an added bonus. We were able to sit outside for meals and enjoy beautiful scenery and the hot tub. Will definitely visit again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon with our 1 year old after getting married last week. The cottage was beautifully presented and the goody bag was well thought out. All furniture including beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and having a dishwasher is a big help when staying with a toddler! The hot tub was verRead morey relaxing on a night time. We enjoyed just watching the sheep and their lambs. Trains go past too every so often which is nice to see. The owners have done a wonderful job renovating the barn to such a high standard. The only thing I would say would be that the road is very noisy in the morning. Especially around 7am when all of the tippers are going to the quarry. It would have been nice to see progress pictures of the cottage when it was getting renovated. I bet it would be really interesting to look back on. Thank you very much for our stay. We really enjoyed it and will remember our honeymoon forever. Hide

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic week at Ings Barn and would book again in a heartbeat! Location wise the property is great, it's a 10 minute drive into Settle and most of the sights of the Dales are well within an hour. There's a friendly pub a few minutes walk away and we walked Pen-y-ghent (one of the three Yorkshire peaks) riRead moreght from the barn. There is a road beside the property and while there is obiviously some traffic the house blocks virtually all the sound and it didn't bother us at all. The barn has been really beautifully converted and decorated, we've holidayed in a lot of properties and this is hands-down the nicest - the photos genuinely don't do the rooms justice, especially the main lounge which is a far nicer, bigger space than we expected. The beds are enourmous and so comfortable I made a note of the mattress so we could replace ours at home, the linens were super soft and smelled amazing (would love to know what detergent is being used!) and there were plenty of pillows. Bedrooms all had good storage space and both bathrooms well fitted out. We really couldn't think of a single thing that wasn't provided in the barn - there's a properly fitted out kitchen so we were able to cook without struggling for implements etc. as you often do, plenty of tea and coffee including pods, tea towels and dishwasher tablets etc. There were some games and the alexa speaker was a nice touch. We made plenty of use of the hottub which was super clean, nice and hot and secluded with the lid hiding the tub from the road. The tub has a wonderful view over fields which for our trip were full of lambs which we loved. Hide

The hot tub has been thoroughly enjoyed and everything was so easy with the fabulous welcome folder. The beds were so comfortable and what fabulous showers and bath!
