The historic Trelowarren Estate is right next door, with 5 miles of public walks as well as an excellent restaurant. Numerous beaches, large and small, are within 10 miles, and the foodie town of Porthleven is just 7 miles away. The beautiful village of Helford is 4.5 miles, while for larger shops, Helston is 5.5 miles. Great days out for all the family include the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (2 miles), the sub-tropical gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan, both 8 miles and the castle on St Michael’s Mount (15 miles). This is a truly lovely cottage, small yet perfectly formed. It has a lovely welcoming feel, it's bright, airy and the garden was secure for our dog. It's very well equipped too. We had a lovely week walking around the Helford Estuary, the wildflowers were out and the weather was great. It's in a beautiful location and I would definitely recommend Read moreit. Hide

The cottage is in a beautiful quiet location on the outskirts of a friendly village. The Ship Inn up the road serves fantastic food. The garden is lovely and dog friendly. The bedrooms are relatively small as is the bathroom so really only suitable for a couple. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and lots of essential rations were provided. Extremely well equipped and very comfortable accommodation. The property was immaculately clean throughout and is very well located allowing easy access to The Lizard peninsula and across the whole of the southern tip of Cornwall. Very peaceful with practically zero traffic noise and just a short stroll to The Ship Inn (Fabulous food)
