Offering fresh and relaxing accommodation for two guests, this characterful retreat makes a perfect bolthole for nature lovers, walkers and history fans discovering an idyllic and fascinating part of the Suffolk countryside. The property lies in the quiet village of Snape, within easy reach of a good pub and the famous Snape Maltings – a popular heritage site with a major concert hall and an array of shops, cafes and galleries (0.5 miles). The fishing port of Aldeburgh (5.5 miles) is to the east, known for its long association with the composer Benjamin Britten. The picturesque seaside village of Thorpeness and the nature reserve at Orford Ness are both within 6 miles along the coast. Inland, attractions include the beautiful Rendlesham Forest, Easton Farm Park, Bentwaters Cold War Museum and Sutton Hoo, all within 10 miles.

Entering this sympathetically updated property, the light, fresh and spacious lounge/diner offers a warm welcome, with wooden beams, exposed stonework and a lovely wood burner for you to unwind in front of. The cottage was delightful! It was well equipped and beautifully presented. It is decorated to a high standard and is within easy reach of lovely areas to explore. Two pubs serving food a stones throw away and both are dog friendly which was perfect!
