The property is located just 5 miles from the historic market town of Helston, a place brimming with Cornish culture, impressive architecture, and independently owned shops and pubs. During your stay, lace up your walking boots and explore the Peninsula - it's the best way to experience this beautiful area. Discover Porthleven (7 miles), The Loe Bar (6 miles), and take a hike to Lizard Point (9 miles) for sweeping views across the channel. A beloved local attraction, the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (2.5 miles), is a must-visit for adults and children alike, as is the stunning Trebah Garden (7 miles). Your nearest beach, Gunwalloe, a site of archaeological interest, is just 4.5 miles away.

This attractive two-storey home focuses on comfort and will make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Step inside and leave your coats and shoes in the hallway after a long, rewarding walk. Just off the hallway, you'll find a snug single bedroom and a spacious, refreshing shower room with a double-head shower. The open-plan living area is also on the ground floor, featuring an interesting feature wall and French doors that open onto the deck. The lounge area is furnished with plenty of comfy seating, including a king-size sofa bed (available for up to two additional people), and has a Smart TV. There’s also space to dine at the table for five or at the breakfast bar, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to feed your gang. Take the turning staircase to the first floor, where you'll find the super-king-size bedroom with a versatile zip-and-link bed. The room has an angled ceiling with limited head height, but a skylight provides great views. There’s also a small dressing area at the top of the stairs.

Step outside through the French doors onto the deck. This enclosed area is perfect for outdoor living, complete with furniture for sipping your morning coffee or evening sundowners while soaking up the view.

The pictures on the web site are very accurate . This is a very impressive conversion . The Air Source Heat pump did its job extremely well and despite the wall to wall sunshine during our stay it was very windy and extremely chilly the heating was perfect . The Barn is terrific and very welcoming . Very close to Helston and if not on the Lizard Read moreits extremely close. Very close to Poldhu Beach and not far from Praa Sands . Close to shops. our hosts Angela & Tony were very welcoming and helpful. We dont have a dog but we had one visiting and this was no problem and one of the reasons we choose this place. Very clean everything thing you would need for a stay was provided. All in all a very comfortable stay and we plan to return. Completely happy to recommend this cottage as a place to stay to tour the area or as we did spend time with family who live close by. Hide
