Surrounded by beautiful woodland walks around the Percy Wood Country Park grounds and with amazing views over the golf course, this Northumbrian countryside lodge is the perfect peaceful getaway for the whole family. Percy Woods Country Park offers something for everyone, from unlimited access to its 18-hole golf course to woodland walks around the grounds where you might spot one of the resident deer. Soak up hundreds of years of rich local history at the iconic Alnwick Castle, 10.5 miles away, the second largest inhabited castle in the UK, or Warkworth Castle (8.5 miles), which offers breathtaking views across the River Coquet. Keen coastal explorers can hop aboard a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses (24 miles) to spot the UK's largest grey seal colony. Or enjoy a day on the sand at the gloriously golden stretch of Druridge Bay Beach, 13 miles away.

Take the three steps onto the decking and discover the contemporary charm and extra special homely touches of your holiday cabin’s interior. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the heart of this home-from-home boasts a wonderfully warming atmosphere that invites outdoor adventurers to cook, dine and unwind with loved ones. On cooler evenings, fire up the electric flame-effect fire to keep toes toasty, and during the summer months throw open the patio doors and relax to the calming sounds of the birds and evening breeze. There are three inviting bedrooms to choose from, one double with an en-suite shower room, another double, and one twin, all brimming with character and comfort for a great night's rest. The contemporary family bathroom provides everything you need to freshen up for your daily adventures and wash off after a long day before bedtime.

Outside, slip into the wonderful hot tub, enjoying views across the golf course towards the Cheviot Hills, before dining alfresco with a glass of something chilled on the enclosed decked terrace. There is private parking for two cars at the lodge.

Beautifully situated lodge with lovely views over the gold course. The lodge is very spacious, bright and well appointed. Beds are very comfortable with excellent bedding. We had a couple of minor issues and the managing agent was really quick in resolving them. the park is very clean, tidy, neat and feels safe. There is a pub owned by the site whiRead morech is a short walk away. Very friendly but do not rely on it. We checked opening times with them then went for Sunday dinner at 6pm to find they had stopped food at 4pm as the "were so quiet". We had a lovely stay and would recommend this property Hide
