Experience a unique taste of history with a stay in this apartment within a landmark, Grade 1 listed building. Whether couples, friends, or families, you’ll be impressed from the moment you arrive, by the exquisite grounds, the large, high-ceilinged rooms, and the stunning views. Bunny Hall is surrounded by spectacular countryside, and there are walking and cycling trails all around. Another option for things to do is a trip to Nottingham, just 7.5 miles away, where you’ll find fascinating caverns carved deep beneath the city centre, a multitude of shops, and a cultural quarter with an array of restaurants and bars. For outdoor enthusiasts, Rushcliffe Country Park is only a 1.5-mile journey, ideal for wildlife spotting. In Ruddington, 2.5 miles, a heritage railway offers a nostalgic journey through the countryside, and at Manor Farm Park & Woodlands, 4 miles, you can see the animals, explore woodlands, and enjoy the children’s play areas.

Drive through the gates of the estate and enjoy the grand approach through the lime-tree walk. The apartment itself is set in the North Wing, which sits to the side of the main house. Once inside, climb the stairs to the second floor of the house and enter the apartment. You’ll immediately encounter an intriguing and unique feature – an opulent frosted-glass dome that sits in the centre of your large hallway, below a large roof lantern that allows light to flood in. Stroll through the internal hall to reach the huge lounge, with its choice of sofas, ornamental fireplace, and ornate chandelier. There’s a Smart TV here, allowing you to gather around and watch your favourite shows whenever you want – although you may well prefer to spend your time appreciating the glorious views. The kitchen/diner is also generously sized and includes everything necessary to help the chef of the holiday prepare hearty meals, including an American-style fridge/freezer. On the same level, you’ll have three superb bedrooms, all with lovely views, handsome beds, antique furnishings and elegant window treatments. They share the use of a family bathroom and a separate shower room.

Guests are welcome to explore the hall’s incredible grounds, which encompass 14.5 acres and include well-kept lawns, a Versailles-style fountain, all-weather tennis courts, mature trees and a formal hedge garden. There is also a fish pond containing valuable live fish - please do not throw stones. There’s even a herd of deer on site, too. You’ll have the benefit of private parking for 3 cars.

This was such a great find. We were sad when it was time to leave because we spent the week feeling like actors in a period drama - beautiful house, lovely spacious rooms and astonishing grounds. We fed the deer four times and played tennis twice. Would definitely like to return. The owner Anita was lovely. Many thanks.

Very good location, well off the road and safe. The rooms are very spacious and easy to relax in. The grounds are very well kept, beautiful and serene. We enjoyed feeding the deer and sitting in the garden. Inability to open sealed windows in the midst of a heatwave and long flight of stairs made it quite uncomfortable. unfortunately this is nRead moreot disable person friendly and not stated in the description. We really enjoyed our visit to Bunny Hall. The village of Bunny was a real treat with a fantastic pub and petrol station with a small Morrisons shop nearby. Lots of local walks from the door, and friendly deer in the grounds of the house.

A fabulous apartment in a fantastic location! What an absolute treat to be able to stay somewhere so special. The apartment is set in amazing grounds, with deer that can be fed carrots. It is like staying on the set of a period drama or film, it's wonderful. Lots of age and history, with modern furnishings and appliances etc. - the perfect mix. The grounds are amazing, the dear are beautiful and friendly and they love an apple picked from the orchard and fed to them - or buy some carrots, they love them! The owners are nice toRead more talk to and very down-to-earth considering they live in a dream home :) The sunrises and sunsets that appear to be perfectly positioned looking down the main gardens is a joy every day. And even better yet, at the end of the lovely private driveway there is a petrol station with a small Morrisons in it and a pub/restaurant 2 mins up the road, so good food & drink and no one has to be the designated driver! :D We loved it, the kids loved it, and the whole village of Bunny and the surrounding areas are so pretty. Just book it and go see for yourself :) Hide

A fabulous apartment although the 51 stairs to it are a bit challenging . 2nd floor in stately home higher than usual but worth the climb. Views and grounds outstanding. Apartment beautiful and well equipped. And the deer just amazing. Go prepared with plenty of carrots. Would thoroughly recommend this property.
