Not the easiest place to find. With a number of small sailing craft in the front garden the introduction to Lugger Lodge is confirmed as sea and sailing orientated which is beautifully reflected in the decor. The instructions for the cooker and TV are comprehensive. The settee and the bed are comfortable. The bathroom is fine with a nice shower aRead morend towels to hand. Outside is wooden fencing surrounding a sloping grass area which has a beautiful walnut tree right in the middle. There are a garden table and two metal chairs under the tree. Large fir trees abound in the area with numerous birds to hear and spot. Just off the main road to Swanage with two local filling stations nearby. Walking routes each way and the volunteer railway line a couple of hundred metres down the lane. A compact place for two people sharing a double bed. Hide

Lovely property. We had everything we needed, and the owners were very helpful and approachable. Lots of information was available in the file at the property and we felt that we could contact them if we needed to.

Lugger Lodge is a perfect accommodation for a couple wishing to explore the Purbeck area. Tim and April were very welcoming hosts and the lodge itself was really cozy and nicely decorated with all the equipment you need. The large sky window was wonderful to wake up to on the one sunny morning we had. We also enjoyed having our own private little gRead morearden which was very much appreciated by the dog. I would thoroughly recommend it. Hide
