This first-class reverse level barn offers superb accommodation nestling in an exclusive gated complex on the Devon/Cornwall border. Ideal for family gatherings or groups of friends celebrating a milestone event. Holsworthy, the nearby market town has a selection of shops cafes and eateries and is just 3 miles away. The coast at Bude is just (7 miles) over the border in Cornwall and offers golden sands and rugged cliffs, or in the other direction, try Devon’s Westward Ho! (21 miles), which boasts a large expanse of sands, superb surf and typical seaside amusements; keen walkers can join the Southwest Coast Path from either Bude or Westward Ho!

The layout allows you to ponder over far-reaching lakeside vistas and these views become part of the property particularly in the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the first floor, which is at the heart of the property, large picture windows, state of the art kitchen equipment, large island unit/breakfast bar, comfy sofas, and large dining table provides space for everyone to sit, dine and relax together, making precious memories with loved ones long into the evening. The large adjoining balcony is the perfect spot to soak up some sunshine during the day or with a sundowner in the evening. Other facilities on the this floor includes two bedrooms with super king beds and a separate bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Downstairs on the ground floor, you’ll find a utility room with washer drier and a separate handy WC plus four superb bedrooms, three super king zip-n-link bedrooms two of which are ensuite, all bursting with style and sophistication Plus a twin room and separate family bathroom. The family bathroom is also of an extremely high quality with luxurious freestanding bath and state of the art shower which can be set to soothe, invigorate or massage through various pressured water streams and even play your favourite music, quite unique.

Outside, your ground floor enclosed patio area has stylish garden furniture, BBQ and your own undercover private hot tub (which can seat 10/12 people) and outdoor hot shower. If you have any energy left why not wander the lakeside trails or have a go at fishing, or paddle boarding on the lake. Ample room for parking with space for up to five cars and phase 3 quick charging electric car charging point.

Holsworthy golf course is within half a mile and is run and owned by the owners of  Weekstone Lakes Estates. A complimentary round of golf is available to guests plus discount off Food and Drink in the restaurant. Free transport can also be arranged to and from the golf course by arrangement.

Very spacious and clean property. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the needed equipment. Beds and couch were extremely comfortable. Downside is that check-in is late and check-out is early. Overall would definitely recommend.

The location of this property is superb being on the border of Devon and Cornwall. The grounds are beautiful and private excellently landscaped with a series of lakes that attract the geese and ducks. It was also wonderful to see sheep, goats and horses roaming freely and we also saw the peacock. The communication before our arrival was perfect andRead more the post code led us straight to the entrance gateway where we were greeted by our host Sylvia, who was very friendly and told us local places worthy of visit. The property was very spacious even with our group of six adults, five children and a dog. Lovely large rooms well equipped and made to a high spec. We had everything we needed and the thoughtful welcome basket was much appreciated. Sylvia had even supplied Easter treats for the children and the dog. The beds were super comfortable and the property being set within the large grounds it was very quiet. We used the large hot tub (12 people) every day and it too was high spec. I must mention the incredible open plan kitchen/lounge and dining room with its duel aspect view out over the lakes. Could spend hours looking out or sat on the large balcony watching the geese come and go. A number of our group also took up the offer of a free round of golf and really enjoyed the experience. I would 100% recommend this property and I would not hesitate visiting there again. One of the best examples of large rental properties able to sleep 12 that I have stayed in. We had a wonderful stay at Lake View Barn over Christmas. The views of the lake around the house were amazing with lots of space to explore. It was very clean and well equipped which helped make it comfortable and relaxing for our stay. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, answering any questions we had about the house.
