We have just driven 280 gruelling miles home following our week at 'Harbour View' in East Cowes. Although we are now 'exhausted' we've had a lovely time, and we would like to pass on our thanks to the owner of Harbour View, and to the team that clearly work very hard to maintain it. From collecting our keys and entering the property, we were veryRead more impressed with how the apartment was presented: Everything was clean and fresh, and tidy. It even 'smelt' clean with diffusers in the bathroom. How thoughtful that, after our long journey, there was milk in the fridge, tea & biscuits in the kitchen and even loo rolls in the bathrooms! Everything seemed to be covered: there was washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels and plenty of cups and crockery etc. The towels were clean and fresh, as was the bedding. Quite lovely... thank you so much! We also cleaned and hoovered before we left! We managed to cram all sorts of things into our 7 days on the island, but coming back to Harbour View each day felt like a homely retreat. We loved the views from the balcony; a view which inspired us to try the Red Funnel Jet boats to Southampton, and also the Solent Cruises to Portsmouth; (both brilliant!). Thank you to all concerned. A really lovely flat, very clean and comfortable. Very quiet area. Easy access to shops, buses and a short ride on the floating bridge to Cowes. Can recommend The Garden cafe in Cowes. May even book again for next year to see some more of the lovely IoW.

Lovely apartment, extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location - a quick trip on the floating bridge and you're in Cowes Old Town. The view from the balcony is lovely. Highly recommend.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the harbour. It was very quiet, and had everything we needed during our stay. We found it easy to get out and around the island from there and would happily stay there again.

It was a very convenient, well-appointed and extremely clean place to stay. It was very close to Waitrose and the Coop, the Mainland Ferry and the Chain Ferry to West Cowes where there were many more tourist facilities. It is also not far from Osborne House and a relatively cheap petrol station. Buses to Newport and Ryde both pass Osborne House andRead more the Newport bust is only every 15 minutes. Hide

This excellent apartment is in a lovely position, great views over Cowes harbor with always something to watch. Supermarket - Chinese - Fish/chip shop - Pub (with good reasonably priced food) all within a short walk and easy access to the rest of island for visiting.
