Deal is a quaint and characterful coastal town, home to the Timeball Tower Museum, Walmer Castle and Gardens, and Deal Castle, with a traditional pier standing along the beach. Heading south to Dover, local attractions include Fort Burgoyne, Dover Castle and the famous White Cliffs. Walkers can also head along the idyllic South Foreland Heritage Coast, with its historic lighthouse, quiet bays and peaceful beaches.
