Whisk yourself off for a peaceful getaway at this cheerful cottage in the heart of Norton Green. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms, it’s the perfect accommodation option for small families or groups of friends yearning to explore the picturesque Isle of Wight together. Just 1 mile away you’ll discover the beautiful Colwell Bay, where you can try your hand at paddleboarding in the gentle waters before relaxing in one of the cosy beachside cafes. Alternatively, make your way to Totland Bay (2 miles) for a walk along the tranquil promenade. It’s a fabulous spot to catch a stunning sunset too. Or head to the iconic chalk rock formation at Alum Bay (3 miles) to enjoy the panoramic views over the Solent.

Park your car in your private parking spot and head towards this gorgeous semi-detached, stone-built cottage. Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by an inviting open-plan living/kitchen/dining area with an open fire in the living area and a wood burner in the kitchen. Take a moment to soak up the cheerful decor before heading to the traditional kitchen area to whip up some dinner for your loved ones. Gather everyone to eat at the wooden dining table – the garden views from the wide ceiling-to-floor glass doors are lovely. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of wine and relax by the crackling open fire in the living room. When it’s time for bed, take the stairs to the first floor where you’ll find two lovely double bedrooms – one with a large window with views of the hills, and the other with views of the garden. Completing the layout, you’ll find a smart bathroom with a shower over the bath on the ground floor.

Stepping outside through the French doors, you’ll find seating on the terrace for al fresco dinners after days spent exploring. There is also a charming summer house at the end of the lush, green lawn with further seating for enjoying evenings under the stars.
