This charming one-bedroom property is in an idyllic spot deep in the Yorkshire countryside, concealed within the grounds of the owner’s caravan park. It’s wonderful for a walking holiday exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park (5 miles) or following famous routes like the Wainwright’s Coast to Coast path, which you can join in Richmond (7 miles). The cosy dwelling conveniently located just 1.5 miles from an A road, giving you easy access to surrounding attractions during your stay. Wander round the shops and cobbled market square in the historic market town of Richmond, or visit its medieval castle perched high on a hill. Follow well-marked trails leading through open fields, woodlands and unspoiled countryside, spend an afternoon mountain biking in Hamsterley Forest (13 miles) if you like to get about on two wheels, or be wowed by natural wonders like High Force Falls (21 miles)

As you arrive at this delightful single-level bungalow, take a moment to admire the beautiful stonework both inside and out. Inside, you’ll have a spacious and pristine kitchen with wood-topped work surfaces and a compact dining area for enjoying meals together. This flows naturally into the cosy lounge, where a multi-fuel burner, nestled within an elegant stone fireplace invites you to settle in and unwind. Ample sofa space, stylish wooden furniture and vibrant artwork create a warm and cheerful atmosphere. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and completing the interior is the shower room.

Outside, the garden presents a delightful spot for spending time with our loved one, reading, eating at the table, or soaking in the delightful hot tub surrounded by that beautiful stonework. There is private off-road parking for one car.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Tavern Cottage. It is set up for comfort & relaxation, from the sofas, to the bed & the hot tub. We enjoyed walks from the door as well as having plenty to do & see in the local area. The food recommendations were very much appreciated.
